The
New Zealand Coastal Classic motorcycle tour is the ultimate tour of New Zealand , covering all the main aspects of the country's many types of nature as well as some of the nicest roads you can imagine to ride. You will be smiling all the way. You will spend an equal amount of time on both islands. This enables you to have a chance to experience the unique sub tropical north, endless beaches and volcanoes, as well as the glacial lakes, mountains and rain forest of the South island.
You will be visiting Bay of Islands, Coromandel, East Cape. the North island's famous wine district, the volcanic plateau, King Country and Wellington. Abel Tasman National Park, the Wild West Coast, Glaciers, Haast Pass, Wanaka, Milford Sounds, Queenstown and Lake Tekapo just to mention the major ones.
The tour is a 21 day Hotel and Lodge tour with good quality accommodation in carefully selected locations. Your luggage is transported by your guide in the support vehicle. Riding days are in general between 200-300 km and there is plenty of time allowed for visits and personal discoveries, 5 rest days for other activities or extra riding as an option, of course.

Our
Tour guides
Our
tour guides have an intimate knowledge of New Zealand's roads, history, culture
and natural environment because rather than coming from your country of origin
they work, live and ride in New Zealand all year round. Further more they
have over 15 years experience in conducting motorcycle tours in New Zealand
and are able to fulfil the role of tour guide, support person, mechanic and
interpreter.
Support Vehicle
Our
support vehicle transports all your luggage, has a fully equipped workshop
on board as well as a first aid kit and will follow the riders thus enabling
you to enjoy your riding to the full. In the mornings we discuss the day's
route, attractions on the way and our destination for the day. You are then
on your way to enjoy the day at your own pace.
Riding
Experience
The
tour caters for all levels of riding experience and is classed as an on-road
tour.
We make a point of avoiding a "cattle drive" by limiting the tour
groups to a maximum of 10 and giving each rider sufficient freedom to travel
at their own pace. A days ride is usually between 200-350 kms allowing plenty
of time for sightseeing, relaxing or more bike riding.
License Requirements
A full motorcycle license must be held by anyone wishing to participate in
our tours and/or rent a motorcycle. The same license restrictions will apply
as those of country of origin.
